| How much space can I have for each email account? |
| |
| By default, all the email addresses on your account will have 5mb of disk space allocated to them. The maximum space you can have for your accounts is 50mb per account, but you need to raise a support ticket for this to be enabled for you. |

| Does Netpivotal offer SMTP services? |
| |
Netpivotal offers SMTP services on the Developer and Business plans. This allows you to use your own domain as the outgoing mail server.
Home plan users simply need to use the SMTP service provided by their internet service provider. Webmail can also be used to send and receive emails. |

| What is my incoming email server? |
| |
When you set up your POP3 email accounts in your email client, the incoming mail server you need is in the following format:-
mail.yourdomain.com
Where yourdomain.com is the hosting account that you have with Netpivotal. |

| What is the largest e-mail I could receive through my mailbox account? |
| |
| The largest email size you can receive is 10mb. |
| |
| Can I use mailing lists or mailing groups? |
| |
As a precaution against unsolicited email these features are disabled on all accounts initially. However, if you specifically require these features you are able to raise a support ticket and our technical team will activate two lists for you.
Please remember NetPivotal has a zero-tolerance policy on spam and any account found to be sending unsolicited emails will be cancelled immediately. |

| What types of email account do I get on my hosting account? |
| |
When you sign up for a NetPivotal account each hosting plan comes with a minimum of 1000 email addresses.
These email addresses are POP3 and IMAP compatible so you can retrieve your email using programs like Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird.
All email accounts can also be accessed from any internet browser using webmail. To use this, go to webmail.yourdomainname.com or log into your webmail via the link on our homepage and login with your full email address as username and your password. |

| Do you provide web mail with any of your accounts? |

| All our plans come with free web mail access, which gives you the ability to check your email from any internet enabled machine with a web browser. |

| I want to use more than one email account, do we have to share passwords? |
| |
| Each mailbox on your hosting account has a webmail login that allows your user to view, reply, and manage their mail individually. So theres no need to share passwords. For example, you could give each member of your family or business their own email account with its own unique user name and password! |

| Can I setup Catchall email addresses? |
| |
| Yes, all our hosting plans let you setup Catchall email addresses. This ensures that you receive all the email sent to your domain. |

| Do I get a SPAM filter on my email accounts? |

| Yes, all email accounts on our servers are covered by anti-spam software. |
| |
| I'm having trouble receiving large attachments through webmail, what can I do? |
| |
| All our servers have a maximum file size limit through webmail to make sure the server isn't slowed by large attachments. You can avoid this problem by downloading your email onto your local PC using Outlook Express or a similar email program. |

| Do you scan my incoming emails for viruses? |

| Yes, all emails through our servers are scanned as they arrive to add another level of protection for you. |
